The complete customer guide
From “I need help” to work you can approve.
E-Moto gives you a visible path through automotive work: find the service, check the person behind it, agree on the details, and stay in control until delivery.
Your path through E-Moto
The key idea
Payment follows agreement. Payout follows approval.
Start with the work
Search for the service you need.
The clearest way into E-Moto is to describe the help you need, then compare the matching services. You do not need to know which agent to choose before you begin.
Search by the job: inspection, diagnostics, sourcing, paperwork checks, or buying help.
Use service type, expertise, price, and rating filters when you need to narrow the list.
Open a result to compare its description, agent, starting price, and flat fee.
Good to know: “Starting from” is the service’s base guide price. Your final request can change with the work, distance, and agreed offer.

Trust the person
Review the agent, then talk before you commit.
A service tells you what will be done. The profile tells you who will do it. Use both, then chat when the scope or timing needs a proper conversation.
Review the agent’s profile, experience, locations, services, ratings, and past feedback.
Use chat to confirm the exact deliverable, the vehicle or location, and any special requirements.
Agree what “finished” should look like before you send the formal request.
Good to know: You may be asked to sign in before opening a full profile, starting chat, or requesting the service.

Make the request
Set the offer, scope, and due date together.
The order form turns the discussion into a visible agreement. Add where the work happens, what you need, your offer, and the date the agent is expected to deliver.
Enter the price you are offering for this specific job; different cars and scopes can need different prices.
Use the date field as the agreed delivery deadline, not just a casual appointment reminder.
Write the expected files, report, evidence, or result into the details so both sides share the same brief.
Good to know: Submitting the request does not take payment. The agent still needs to accept it or send a counter-offer first.

Live price breakdown
Totals update as you edit the offer.
What makes up the total?
Work price + distance: refundable less the fixed R20 processing fee on a standard refund.
Flat fee: retained on a standard refund after delivered work.
Understand the price
Two money buckets, shown before you submit.
The app shows the total and the refundable amount before the order is placed. Distance, when used, is calculated into the work amount.
Protected work amount
Offer + distance
This is the work-related portion. The displayed standard refundable amount is this portion less the fixed R20 processing fee.
Flat fee
Booking commitment
The flat fee is retained on a standard refund after delivered work. It is shown separately throughout the order.
If the agreed due date passes with no delivered work or evidence, the overdue cancellation path is different: the customer can cancel for a full refund and no agent payout is made.
Agree before paying
The agent can accept, reject, or counter.
Every job is a little different, so the first offer is not always the final price. E-Moto keeps that negotiation visible inside the order.
The agent can accept your original request or send a new base price as a counter-offer.
If you accept the counter, the agent gives final confirmation before payment becomes available.
Only pay once the price, scope, and due date all reflect what you agreed.
Good to know: Chat helps you discuss the work, but the accepted order is the source of truth for the final price and deadline.

Work with a deadline
Track the order while the agent does the work.
After payment, the order becomes the shared record of the job. The agent must add delivery notes and can upload a file or delivery link before marking it delivered.
Keep the order page as the record of payment, progress, due date, delivery, and approval.
The agent uploads evidence or a delivery link and marks the order as delivered when it is ready.
If the due date passes with no delivered work or evidence, you can use the full-refund cancellation shown on the order.
Good to know: The overdue full-refund option appears only when the order is paid, the due date has passed, and no delivery proof has been submitted.

Agreed due date
18 August 2026
This is the date the agent is expected to deliver work or evidence into the order.
Your overdue protection
Once the date has passed, if there is no delivered work or evidence, the order can show “Cancel order (full refund)”.
You make the final call
Open the delivery, check it, then approve.
Delivered does not mean automatically approved. Download or open the work, compare it with the agreed brief, and choose the right next action.
Open the uploaded file or delivery link and read the agent’s completion notes.
Approve only when you are satisfied; approval starts the agent payout process.
If something needs fixing, request adjustments. If delivered work is not acceptable, the standard refund path shows the exact refundable amount.
Good to know: A standard refund after delivery retains the flat fee and fixed R20 processing fee. Approval and payout close the refund route.
