Primary sources for formal requirements

Registration, roadworthy, finance, and consumer-rights claims are checked against government, regulator, or other first-party sources wherever possible.

Clear limits

A guide is practical information, not a guarantee, mechanical diagnosis, legal opinion, or substitute for the relevant authority or qualified professional.

Visible dates and updates

Each article carries a publication and review date. We only change the updated date when the article, its evidence, or its links have been meaningfully reviewed.

How a guide is produced

  1. Define the reader, decision, and search intent the guide must satisfy.
  2. Review the current E-Moto product route so the advice and next action match services the platform actually supports.
  3. Research factual claims using primary or authoritative South African sources.
  4. Write an original answer with concrete checks, decision points, warnings, and internal links to genuinely related guides.
  5. Review the title, description, headings, sources, dates, structured data, mobile layout, and calls to action before publication.
  6. Revisit time-sensitive articles when rules, fees, products, or linked sources change.
